Started by a husband-wife team, Helen Kang and Tom Lo, California Apparel Service (formerly C&A Apparel Service) is an apparel service and production company that focuses on meeting the needs of the niche/emerging designer entrepreneurs, as well as those that desire to be made in the USA. We believe that access to manufacturing facilities should be available to designers at any and all stages of their growth. We are a vertically integrated production house with all services under one roof, making it efficient and effective for our customers.
The company was started out of a desire to serve the budding designer entrepreneur, and provide them the same capabilities as that of an established fashion giant. We have over 20 years of experience in the fashion industry--from development to manufacturing--and have seen the ups and downs of this business. We know the frustration designers feel in not being able to find a reliable US-based company that can partner up and work to turn their fashion ideas into reality. It is also tough to find companies out there flexible enough to handle large and more importantly, small production quantities that can fit a smaller budget.
We are excited to be a domestic manufacturer that respects and values the skills and craftsmanship in our team, and strives to provide a work environment that maintains dignity for all that participate in the creation of quality apparel.
